Perth Weather

Located at 32 degrees South latitude, Perth is situated on the west coast of Australia and enjoys a typically mediterranean climate of hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters. Summer evenings are generally tempered by afternoon sea-breezes known as the "Fremantle Doctor", producing plentiful clear skies with warm comfortable conditions. The winter months, while quite often cloudy, can yield some stunning crisp evenings which permit enviable opportunities to explore the wonders of the deep southern sky as well as the rich galactic centre as it passes through the zenith.

How would you like to keep tabs on the weather straight from your desktop? If you're using Windows 95/98/NT/XP/Vista/7, perhaps you'd like to try WetSock or one of the other weather utilities available from TUCOWS. WetSock is a shareware program utility which reports your current weather conditions and forecasts. It shows as an icon in the tray notification area of the system taskbar and is updated automatically when you log on to the Net.
